Our Story

Owner

As a passionate traveller and design enthusiast, I founded my travel apparel brand, Anise Lifestyle with a singular vision: to create clothing that truly understands the modern jetsetter's lifestyle. My personal experiences traversing different places revealed a critical gap in the market - stylish, versatile clothing that seamlessly transitions from airport lounges to city streets, while prioritising both comfort and sustainability.

By carefully selecting organic and recycled cotton, I wanted to have garments that not only feel incredible against the skin but also minimise environmental impact. Each piece whether it is a soft, breathable t-shirt, or a cosy sweatshirt is meticulously designed to meet the demands of contemporary global nomads who value quality, functionality, and ethical production.

The brand emerged from my own wanderlust and the understanding that travellers need intelligent, adaptable clothing that can withstand long journeys, temperature variations, and diverse cultural environments, all while maintaining a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. Our commit-ment to having travel apparel made of sustainable materials like organic and recycled cotton ensures that every garment tells a story of responsible fashion, allowing our customers to explore the world with both style and conscience.

Sustainability

Reduce our impact as much

as we can.

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond environmental concerns to encompass the well-being of our workforce. Our partners prioritise production methods that minimise ecological impact while ensuring fair treatment of garment workers. They believe that a first step to reducing our impact on our planet is to use organic cotton. Secondly the production of garments with alternative fibres such as Linen, Tencel, Modal and Bamboo offers a very good alternative to cotton (both conventional and organic). Finally they believe that the ultimate solution is to use recycled cotton.

Social Standards

We respect people as much as we respect the planet.

Our partners are committed to upholding rigorous social standards that align with our core values of responsibility and sustainability. Just as we prioritise environmental stewardship, we expect our partners to prioritise the well-being of their workforce. This includes ensuring that all employees are paid a living wage, which enables them to meet their basic needs and maintain a decent standard of living. Furthermore, our partners are required to provide safe and acceptable working conditions, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

We also strongly support the fundamental right of workers to freedom of association, including the ability to form and join trade unions of their choice without fear of reprisal. This commitment to fair labour practices and worker empowerment extends throughout our supply chain, as we believe that ethical treatment of workers is not only morally imperative but also essential for sustainable business practices and long-term success.

Our Fabrics

Crafted from recycled and sustainably grown fibers.

While cotton remains a staple, our partners  recognise the importance of diversifying their fibre sources for greater sustainability. Our partner's first step towards reducing our environmental footprint is the adoption of organic cotton. Furthermore, they have embraced alternative fibres such as Linen, Tencel, Modal, and Bamboo, which offer excellent substitutes for both conventional and organic cotton. Ultimately, they believe that the most sustainable path forward lies in the utilisation of recycled cotton, representing their dedication to circular fashion practices and resource conservation.
